Customizing is more than painting

Professional customization begins long before color is applied. The result depends on understanding the idea, adapting the composition to the sneaker's shape, and preparing each material correctly.

1. Understanding the idea

The first step is learning who the pair is for, what story it should tell, and how it will be worn. References help, but we also need to know which colors, elements, and feelings are essential.

2. Choosing the model and areas

Every silhouette is a different canvas. The Air Force 1 offers broad panels, while other models require working around seams, fabrics, or small sections. At this stage, we decide where each part of the design should live.

3. Preparing the surface

Preparation is essential for adhesion. The areas are cleaned, the factory finish is removed when the material requires it, and soles, seams, and untouched panels are carefully protected.

4. Building the artwork in layers

Color is applied in thin layers. This creates coverage without making the surface rigid. Bases and main shapes come first, followed by shadows, highlights, outlines, and fine details.

Drying time between layers should not be rushed. Patience is part of the final quality.

5. Reviewing balance and detail

Sneakers are seen from many angles and in motion. We review continuity across panels, the readability of the artwork, and the balance between both shoes. Even an asymmetric design should feel like one coherent project.

6. Protecting the finish

Once the paint is fully dry, a finish compatible with the material and intended use is applied. Protection helps against friction and splashes, although hand-painted pieces still need specific care.

7. Final inspection and shipping
