Your RICARD design, made by you

1. Thoroughly degrease the surface with SneakArts leather preparer.

Work in a ventilated area, away from flames. Let the preparer evaporate completely before applying heat and follow its instructions for use.

2. Place the transfer sheet over the stencil and rub it firmly with a card or squeegee so the design sticks to the transfer.
3. Peel off the transfer sheet, then place your stencil on the shoe. Take your time to centre and align it properly.
4. Rub the whole surface again so the stencil sticks perfectly to the leather.
5. Push out as many air bubbles as possible from under the stencil to get clean edges and reduce the risk of paint bleeding. You can use a little heat from a heat gun or hair dryer.
6. Using a hook and/or tweezers, carefully remove the parts of the stencil covering the areas you want to paint.

7. Apply your paint gradually with a brush. Tip: avoid going over the adhesive parts of the stencil. Simply fill the area up to the edge.

8. Let the paint dry sufficiently before removing the stencil.
9. Peel it off slowly and gradually to reveal your design.
10. Once the paint is completely dry, apply three coats of a suitable protective varnish.
